Ideas for Principle #38
💡 A pinwheel - you blow on it really hard so it spins much faster than with a regular breath.
A flat bike tire - you inflate it with a pump so it's taut and strong for riding, instead of staying soft and weak.
A campfire - you blow on it or fan air toward it so the fire burns stronger and faster.
Something works, but too slowly or too weakly?!
Sometimes a process that's happening works, but at a pace slow enough to frustrate us.
Try thinking: what if we add "more power" (more air, more energy) to speed up what's already working?
Sometimes you don't need to change the method at all - just add strength to what's already happening, so it happens much faster.

Now it's your turn to invent. Design your own short practice routine that builds up one talent your child loves most.
Easy
1. Find one more thing together that can be strengthened by adding power, air, or energy.
2. Ask your child which one of their talents they most want to build up this year.
A bit of a stretch
3. Choose one skill together to learn, and set a small regular time each week to practice it.
4. Check together whether a pinwheel spins faster with a strong breath or a weak breath.
Challenge for champions
5. Ask your child to design a full training plan for one talent they want to build up over a whole month.
6. Try together to think of a process in your life that's too slow, and plan how to add more power to speed it up.
