💡 A teddy bear - soft fur to pet on the outside, cotton stuffing on the inside so it's fluffy and soft, and hard plastic eyes so they look real - three different materials, each doing a different job.

A winter coat - waterproof nylon on the outside so we don't get wet, and a soft, warm lining on the inside that keeps us warm.

A sports shoe - a hard sole that absorbs shocks, and a flexible, breathable top fabric that's comfortable for your foot.

No single material gives you everything you need at once?!
Sometimes one material is strong but not comfortable, and another is comfortable but weak.

The way to think about it: what if we combine several different materials together, each one for its best quality?

When you combine materials, you get all the advantages together, without giving up any of them.

Now, after 40 principles, it's your turn to invent. Design your own composite material together, combining three things your child learned or loved most throughout the whole game.

Easy
1. Choose three favorite principles together out of all 40 principles, and explain why you chose exactly these.
2. Ask your child which one principle they remember best and still use today.

A bit of a stretch
3. Choose three things together - a skill, knowledge, and a saving habit - and write a personal example for each from your child's own life.
4. Check together which two principles from the deck combine best together, and why.

Challenge for champions
5. Ask your child to design their own graduation medal, symbolizing the three most important things they took from the game.
6. Try together to think of a new game, tool, or activity your child could invent, one that combines several of the principles they learned.
