How can you use the "a superpower for every part" principle to manage your money more wisely?
Just like we tried to find the "superpower" of different items we use in our everyday life,
we can try to think about our money in exactly the same way.
To manage our pocket money more wisely, we need to divide the money into parts.
Managing pocket money properly, in parts that matter to us, will help us handle things better and think about all the things we want to have.
For example:
We want to have the option to:
1. buy snacks at the store every day
2. sign up for a robotics / judo / dance / ballet / acrobatics class
3. buy a PlayStation / Lego / a squishy toy / a bicycle
4. go to the playground with friends and buy something tasty
or anything else that comes to mind, but we can't always buy it here and now, because our parents don't agree, or because right now isn't the right time
and we need to handle our pocket money properly so we can do everything now or later.
The way to do it is to divide our money according to its "superpower."
1. Everyday use - money we keep in our wallet and can use to buy snacks / go to the playground with friends.
2. Future use - money we set aside and save to sign up for a class or buy something expensive we want.
3. Specific use - money we set aside for a particular goal, for example "buying a bicycle."
When we give our money a "superpower," we know exactly what to spend it on and how much we can spend, so we still have money left for other things.
